Please sign our electronic petition for reform. The petition states as follows: We, the voters of the State of New York, urge our fellow citizens to vote against incumbent members of the State Senate, the State Assembly and the Governor who refuse to support the following reforms advocated by Common Cause, the League of Women Voters, NYPIRG and us, Students4Reform.Com: Real Campaign Finance Reform, Real Lobby Reform with a Complete Ban on Gifts from Lobbyists to Politicians, Ballot Access Reform and the Mandatory Joint Conference Bill that will break the power of the party bosses and return power to the 211 elected legislators from both parties from around the state. We will vote against Governor Pataki, Leader Bruno, Speaker Silver and any other elected official if they refuse to support these reforms.

We invite independent voters like you to enlist in our effort. We have listed several of our New York State Senators and Assembly Members in Albany who refuse to support lobby and campaign finance reforms supported by Common Cause, NYPIRG and the League of Women Voters and who face tough election campaigns.

Please call -toll free- the Governor, Rep. leader Bruno, Democratic Leader Silver and your district's representatives today to relay a clear message:

Tell them you support Lobby and Campaign Finance reforms.

Tell them that since they refused to support reform in the legislature, you'll vote against them on election day.
